Description

We are looking for an experienced Training Intern to join our team! Your role will be extremely important as you will be responsible for assisting in planning and implementing training programs and workshops in line with the overall objective.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales activities for maximizing participant registrations for approximately two to four training sessions each month; this includes client research, business development meetings, cold calling, emailing and coordinating participant registrations
  • Generate and update the client database
  • Effectively manage internal and external client relationships and work effectively across the business
  • Provide secretarial support to ensure smooth running of trainings
  • Assist coordinate schedules and maintains all training courses and programs
  • Assist prepare training programs monthly report
  • Assist draft Technical and Financial proposals when needed
  • Assist write training adverts and coordinate the running of adverts when needed
  • Perform functions and any other duties as and when required by supervisor

Qualifications and Competencies

·         Bachelors’ Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent

·         Demonstrates good judgment and able to make decisions to support the business

·         Ability to accomplish work assignments under minimal supervision and under tight deadlines

·         Ability to work effectively in a team environment

·         Ability to travel to conferences, and other business locations occasionally

·         Self-directed and able to handle multiple tasks at one time

·         Proficient verbal and written communication skills with special emphasis on grammar, spelling, and composition

·         Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix-managed environment

·         Strong written communication and organizational skills

·         Ability to prioritize work

·         Excellent business telephone communication and etiquette
