Description

KSM GROUP of Companies is recruiting a Social Media Marketing Executive

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive. Great opportunity for those that have graduated and have exposure in social media account management and marketing. YOU will be responsible for implementing social media strategies for our Group of companies.  Support initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of our marketing efforts and brand visibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create fresh and curated content to market products and services and improve brand visibility in an exeptional storytelling approach that keeps communities and audiences engaged throughout the customer journey (e.g. customer videos briefs, case studies, blog posts, sales posts);
  • Build and nurture social media platform-specific communities and audiences;
  • Social media marketing and advertising;
  • Post content to different social media profiles and other social media management tasks;
  • Monitor social media trending stories and marketing strategies and creatively align them to brand content;
  • Prepare a content calendar in line with marketing activities from all business units in line with the brands;
  • Moderate and respond to customer queries in consultation with relevant business units;
  • Provide analysis and recommendations of social media campaigns;
  • Monitor and evaluate social media results on a daily basis;
  • Work closely with the other team members to meet client requests;
  • Keep pace with social media and internet marketing industry trends;
  • Have Passion for social media and internet marketing;
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems;
  • Pay attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere;
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points;
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation; and
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.

Qualifications

Professional Skills & Qualifications

  • Full grade Twelve Certificate and Diploma or better in any related field
  • Work Exposure in social media marketing with demonstrated successes
  • Proficiency in social media marketing and manipulation
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Computer literate with strong word processing and email
  • Experience working with popular social media advertising platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and LinkedIn in particular
  • Ability to work with popular social media monitoring tools (Twitter Search, Social Mention, Traackr, etc) and popular social media management tools (TweetDeck, HootSuite, etc)
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools, will be an added advantage

Desired

  • Experience working with managing content (website administration) using CMS such as Joomla and WordPress, will be an added advantage.
